Hi everyone
Just a little off topic for this betta forum but I'm also a massive fan of neon blue dwarf gouramis. They breed like bettas do so im thinking in the next couple of months to give breeding a go with a nice pair Ive got at home. Anyone else a fan?

Charlie, I used to keep blue gouramis a long time ago. Very nice colour! However, the betta bug bit and well..That was that! Roxy

I love gouramis. I have a tank with pearls, a lavender male, a moonlight male and a gold female. I also had an gorgeous dark blue (opaline) male, but sadly lost him last year. They are in with a female angel and some longfin bn plecos.
I kept dwarf gouramis many years back, but always found them to be too aggressive with the other fish. The males are gorgeous colours though!

Im trying to breed my pair of neon dwarf gouramis at the moment - ill have to take some pics and try and put a couple up to show people. My male has currently made his bubble nest, its very interesting because although he uses the bubble wrap i add to my betta fry tanks by blowing bubbles under it he has used bits of plants and floating plants and placed them underneth the bubble wrap unlike bettas. Hope my pair breed - would love to raise some to adults.
