Okay I have had absolutely no luck figuring out or treating what is wrong with my betta. He's eating fine, swimming fine, and his tail is find except at the base of it, where the tail meets the body, there is a large white spot. It keeps growing bigger and it has gone through his tail now and I've tried treating him with waterchange, melafix, pimafix, and maracyn but nothing had helped.
Also I do have other fish in the tank but they haven't gotten it so whatever it is it isn't contagious. Does anyone know what it is!? I'm getting desperate. He doesn't seem bothered by it, his behavior hasn't changed, but I'm worried about what it is.
