Thanks for sharing Natalie! Really super pics,- so many tanks/bettas! It's always interesting to see the different ways in which they are kept. I am currently bidding on a Baby Biorb on ebay at the moment for my Plakat boy (bought as a female!). Price has suddenly shot up in the past hour though so he may just have to stay in his bowl for the moment :0(

Thanks...the biorbs are very popular and iv noticed on ebay people wait until late into the auction to bid on things. Hope you find a tank for him that you like soon.

I've just bought myself a 12x6x8 ft shed to set up as a fish house. It should arrive by the weekend. I'm going to insulate it and hook it up to the mains ( via an electrician of course! ) then I'm going to get some custom racking build and order in a whole load of tanks. These will be divided for bettas so they're completely individual but will have access to heat. I want each fish in their own water so no spread of disease or infection. I'm also going to set up my own mass breeding program for high quality bettas.

That does sound excellent Roxy! I hope that you get it all up and running easily. You'll have to post up lots of pics!
I ended up buying a Fluval Chi 19l, and an Arcadia Arc 35 litre (divided for 2 males). Then some kind school mum gave me a lovely pink Aqua One UFO 30 litre corner fish tank for my daughter's pink bedroom. This isn't set up yet as they have to prove they can keep their room tidy lol. I'll then divide it for 2 males. Then I have my 20litre bow front for 1 male and my Juwel Vision 260 litre for all my girlies.

that reminds me, i was looking at this high tech aquarium shop and they sell a machine/filter which completely takes nirtrates out of the water (its like 300 quid so not something a casual fish keeper could really warrant buying) which would therefore removed any need to change the water assuming you have a steriliser and keep the water toped up and you have a mental amount of biological and mechanical filtration but hey
