I dont know if anyone is like me but i look all over the place for bettas...yes im obsessed, lol!
I regularly look on ebay but my favourite place of all is Aqua Bid, iv never bought from there but i know some of my friends have.
So was wondering if anyone else has looked and wondered what their 'dream betta would be...

I have looked and actually have a selling account but haven't had the chance to list bettas on their atm. The problem with Aquabid is that most of the bettas are abroad and in order to get the bettas to you they need to be imported via a transhipper. In addition, breeders in Thailand, can only ship boxes of bettas of 100+ in order to make the shipping costs worth while. To ship 100 bettas cost $400 USD or £250. It is pretty much the same to ship 1 or 100, so to keep costs down they groups losts of orders to the same country together and ship on 1 specified date. Some breeders will group together and share 'cargo boxes' in order to meet the minimum numbers. Once the bettas arrive in the UK, they then need to pass through customs - this is a minimum of £300 per box (including VAT, etc). It's a costly process to import bettas. However, as i've mentioned before, i plan to make a regular import of once a month. If you find a betta you like on Aquabid, let me know and i'll see if i can have get it in with my shipment to keep your costs down.

im on aquabid quite regularly - really just window shopping and seeing whats out there. although im not a fan of the price im still liking the platinum white pair that was on for just under $300 i think they are really nice looking fish. I really need to sort my betta barracks out and sell a few of the halfmoons i have before i can get anymore fish! its going to have 28 insividual tanks, 4 larger female tanks, 2 55litre breeding tanks and a large sump all conected up with a uv steriliser etc. I also need to get on and picture those hmpk's ive got at home and move a few on ....

Wow,- that's yellow! Not seen one that colour before! I don't look on aquabid as I know I can't have any of them! I can't believe how many different colour varieties of bettas are available,- it's amazing! they are all so gorgeous. My dream would be that males could live together and then i could have dozens hee, hee.
Look forward to seeing pics of your available hms Charlie!

Well Charlie since i bought my first ever HMPK 8 months ago iv loved them ever since, they are tidy bettas where as i find the HM tail is very fragile and hard to keep perfect! I had a RTHM he was stunning il try find a photo of him but after i had him a year or so he got sick and eventually died of dropsy he lasted well but his finnage/tail was stunning but eventually got raggy. This was Haku my RTHM when i first got him just stunning:

Hi guys,
I've got some HMPK Dragons. Not sure if they're silver-red though. I've got a real nice silver-mustard though. I'm desperately trying to get them listed over the weekend.
