Charlie these guys are Mouthbrooders and i remove the Male a few days before he spits them, so far i haven't been able to get the fry past a week old despite my best efforts and 2-3 times BBS feeding

I've read that you can keep males and females together, and that after spawning they can stay in the same tank as the fry as they wont eat them!! If that's true then it's brilliant!

They do all live together in harmany most of the time, the 2 males have the odd spat but nothing serious.
The male never eats his fry, so i usually seperate him to a smaller 3 gal tank then leave him with the fry so he can recover. the only reason i move him is because the other tankmates eating fry

You say you lose the fry after attempting to feed them bbs? Try feeding them infusoria. Usually betta fry's mouths are too small for bbs. Infusoria are much smaller. Could be your problem.
